The Ripple Effect
Why your nervous system matters
Are you feeling everything right now?
Not in your thoughts
but in your body?
Wired + buzzing, hard to quiet your mind?
Heavy + dense, like you’re carrying something?
Scattered, like your attention keeps jumping?
Angry-but you can’t quite name why?
Or like you’re pushing through mud?
If any of this sounds familiar, you are not alone.
Your body’s wisdom is worth listening to right now.
It’s sensing a collective shift before your mind can explain it.
I am not an astrologer.
I am someone who feels energy.
The last few nights, I’ve been sleeping with crystals again.
Something I do when my nervous system needs support with the energies.
A few energies at play this week
New moon in Aquarius
A lunar reset button.
New moons can feel restless or spacious.
Your nervous system may feel empty or searching today -
the pause before creation.
Mars-Neptune
Rest when you can’t see the path clearly.
Don’t force it. Trust it.
Saturn and Neptune are moving closer in Aries —
a long-cycle alignment that marks the end of one era
and the fragile beginning of another.
I don’t speak fluent astrology.
I speak sensation.
And something is dissolving while something else is trying to be born.
This alignment happens about every 36 years.
The last time? 1989 (fall of the Berlin Wall, end of Cold War).
Before that? 1952-53 (post-WWII rebuilding).
It’s collective. It’s generational.
And its asking humanity:
what are we dissolving so we can build something real?
You may feel like mourning + visioning at the same time.
A lot is moving right now
And here is the part we forget.
Every nervous system is feeding the field - the collective.
With panic or with presence.
With fear or with love.
With reactivity or regulation.
That’s the ripple effect.
These energies don’t just live in the sky.
They are in our tissues, breath, and sensations.
Your nervous system may be oscillating between:
Activation - intensity, restlessness, anxiety
Dissolution - grief, fog, emotional release
Spaciousness - the quiet in-between, where something new is forming
It’s a passage.
Here’s the medicine.
When we stay regulated through intensity
when we choose grounding over spiraling,
we don’t just manage ourselves.
We change the frequency of the field.
Staying rooted in love
Doesn’t mean ignoring what’s happening.
It means refusing to let fear decide who you become in the middle of it.
Your choice to return to love -
that is active medicine.
We become the new frequency.
And that ripples.
Reflection
What brings you back to your center?
What helps you return to presence when fear would be easier?
Where are you being invited to let go, so something more honest can take root?
