This past Saturday, I attended a chakra sound healing.
The facilitator clearly poured their heart into it—sharing pages and pages of information about the chakras, their meanings, even weaving in symbolism about the cross.
They explained it all beautifully.
And yet, somewhere along the way, I found myself quietly checking out.
Not because they weren’t doing a good job—but because for me, it became too much to take in at once.
Instead of trying to absorb it all, I shifted into simply holding space—for them, for the others in the room, and for myself.
That moment reminded me of something important:
Everyone is going to have their own experience.
Everyone is on their own journey of remembering, discovering, and awakening.
And it’s not our job to direct it, fix it, or rush it.
Our true work is to meet people where they are—with love and compassion.
To speak from the heart.
To honor that we don’t know what someone else’s path has been, what battles they’ve fought, or what wisdom they carry deep inside.
We don’t need to be the ones to “make” their light shine.
We choose to hold the light—and to keep learning how to shine our own even brighter, in the best ways we know how. This is a path of trusting—again and again—that we already hold the key inside.
Within me, the key glows quietly.
I stand at the threshold where future and now become one.
Today I remember: I already know the way.
You don’t need to memorize every teaching or chase every answer outside of yourself.
The wisdom you need is already within you.
Sometimes, all it takes is a quiet moment of remembering—and sometimes, it’s a guide, a mentor, or even a simple conversation that helps you recognize the signs you were already sensing.
The answers aren't "out there"; they're already alive inside you, waiting to be seen.
An Invitation to Reflect:
When was a time you felt truly seen or held by someone without needing to explain yourself?
How might you hold space for someone else this week—without trying to change or fix them?
What helps you shine your light even brighter from a place of authenticity?
I'd love to hear what comes up for you. Feel free to share in the comments.
If this resonated, consider sharing it with someone who might need a quiet moment of remembering too.
Your light might help spark theirs.
